Chung Wen-Hung Taiwan

Prof. Chung is a physician of dermatology and a specialist of the field in severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions (SCARs) and immunologic disorders. He currently serves as director of department of dermatology at Taipei/Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.Prof. Chung have identified genetic biomarkers for SCARs (Nature 2004, PNAS 2005, JAMA 2014, JACI 2021). He also discovered granulysin as the major mediator for the extensive keratinocyte death in SJS/TEN (Nature Medicine 2008).
